We offer three levels of courses:

 

Intro to Tea

The 'Introduction to Tea' module is designed for tea professionals or those seeking a career in tea, but is also open to enthusiasts who want to learn more about the world of tea. This one-day classroom course will cover the basics of tea, including identifying tea and botanicals, understanding the different categories of Camellia sinensis, brewing and tasting techniques, and food pairing. Whether you are looking to expand your knowledge or jumpstart your career in tea, this course is the perfect place to start.


Camellia Sinensis Foundation

Looking to learn more about the fascinating world of tea? Look no further than our Camellia Sinensis Foundation course. This two-day classroom course covers everything from the history and geography of tea to the chemistry of brewing methods. You'll explore the six categories of tea, and learn about sensory education, tastings, and comparisons. Join us for this comprehensive exploration of tea, and deepen your knowledge and appreciation of this beloved beverage.


Botanical Foundation

If you always wanted to know more about botanicals but never had the chance then our 2 day course: Botanicals Foundation module is just for you. Starting with the definition of botanicals and moving through the functionality and sensory evaluation, it covers the history, cultivation, benefits, uses and sensory profiles of fourteen of the most popular, ending with a session in the art of brewing botanicals. INTRO TO TEA

In this module, we will delve into the fascinating world of tea and explore its history, origins, and production. Through hands-on learning, you will identify different types of tea, learn about Camellia sinensis and its six categories, and get introduced to sensory evaluation. We will also cover the importance of temperature and water in tea brewing, as well as the art of brewing itself. Finally, we'll discuss how tea is much more than just a beverage and explore the cultural significance of this beloved drink. Join us and discover the amazing world of tea!

 

Camellia Sinensis Foundation

This comprehensive course that covers the science of tea, from plant cultivation to the tasting and appreciation of tea. This two-day classroom course is designed by master tea experts and is ideal for anyone who wants to achieve a basic theoretical and practical understanding of the tea plant, from leaf to cup.

The course covers various subjects, including the history, geography, and chemistry of tea, the six categories of tea, brewing methods, sensory education, as well as tastings and comparisons. By the end of the course, you will have enhanced your understanding of tea and acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career in the tea industry.

 

Botanicals Foundation

If you've always been curious about botanicals but never had the chance to learn more, Botanicals Foundation is the perfect opportunity. This module covers the history, cultivation, benefits, uses, and sensory profiles of fourteen of the most popular botanicals, starting with their definition and moving through their functionality and sensory evaluation. The course ends with a session on the art of brewing botanicals, making it an essential course for anyone interested in the world of tea.
